That bridge was a pain in the ass. Now onto to the ten-thousand squiggle trees on the right bank...then the boat...then the canal itself...then color? When will this sketch ever end?!?!?!

This is beautiful - I love the fact that only the boat is in colour and the composition really draws you. Fabulous!
Yeah, I started this in colored pencil but was really unhappy with the how the boat was coming out (Couldn't get detailed enough with the pencils), and I moved on to the next pages. But it always nagged me and I finally decided to do something about it last week.
I had thought that I'd add color to the whole thing once the pen&ink is finished, but now you've got me reconsidering...
I like watching you work on this piece, it's turning out great. And yes, it does look good as it is too, partly unfinished and with a touch of colour. I guess it's up to you whether you want to add more to it or go on to something else, but your drawing skills are excellent.
